Alum Ullah is the Training Principal within the Anexo Academy and a senior solicitor at Bond Turner.

Alum Ullah Bond Turner

His role as Training Principal is to oversee the training and development of trainee solicitors and provide mentorship to staff across the firm. Alum is also a litigator within the RTA credit hire department.

Driven by a genuine commitment to learning and development, Alum finds it immensely rewarding to witness staff progress and achieve their ambitions. He is driven by the belief that encouraging others to apply their training not only benefits the individual but also enriches the firm as a whole.

Working closely with the Training Team—including the Director, Rachael Wong, and Training Co-ordinator, Lisa Birchall—Alum helps facilitate a wide range of training and support.

In addition to his fee-earning responsibilities, he regularly delivers litigation updates, best practice guidance, and supervision for the next generation of legal professionals.

Colleagues describe Alum as personable, dedicated, and highly organised—qualities that enable him to manage diverse roles without compromising on quality or outcomes. He values collaboration, decision-making, and continual professional growth, always aiming to bridge any gaps in his legal knowledge.

What Alum enjoys most about his work is helping clients and colleagues achieve positive outcomes, which in turn fuels his own development and motivation.

Outside of the office, Alum is a keen runner, having completed two marathons for charity. He also serves as a Judge and Chair of the Valuation Tribunal for England, adjudicating a range of property-related appeals. As an educator, he has delivered the Civil Litigation course at Liverpool John Moores University, and he is proud to hold the position of Deputy Vice President of the Liverpool Law Society.
